Rt. 50 Yard Sales
Dear Prospective Participant:
The Lawrence County Junior Fair Association invites you to take part in the first ever “Great U.S. 50 Yard Sale” to be
held at the Lawrence County 4-H Center. It is our desire to make this an annual event and we hope that you can be
part of this exciting new opportunity.
This event will take place on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, 2008 and will be open to the public from 7 AM til ??.
Booths will be set up in the main building of the fairgrounds with approximately 25 booths available.
Items for sale could include antiques, crafts, household goods, furniture, kitchen ware, books, toys, clothes, and many
other yard sale items. Items that are prohibited for sale include guns, contraband, automobiles, fireworks, animals
and tires.
Cost per booth is $5.00 with booths space approximately 20’ X 20”. Tables are available for $5.00. Cost is the same
whether you set up for one day or both days. A signed, completed registration must be returned by May 1, 2008
This event will be publicized in the local papers, local radio station broadcast and through out the area.
